Ambient-light live band shoots are a passion of mine.  I love the kinship and connection that I feel with the musicians as I capture an intimate view of a public performance.  I can truly make you look like a rock star!

One on One

The art of photography is really about building relationships.  That is particularly true when shooting one on one with a client.  In order to bring out the beauty of the person in the photos it takes more than just lighting, makeup and a camera.  It is all about making a connection on a level that allows the true beauty of the subject to come through. I love the intimacy of this type of shoot.  My approach is much different than the typical glamour style so common these days.  I endeavor to work with my clients to find out what makes them feel beautiful and work with their ideas rather than to make them look the way I think they should.  I also have an exceptional makeup artist available to work with you to achieve your best look.

Pet Candids

There is an abundance of photographers doing studio photography of people's beloved pets.  I prefer to capture pets in their homes and back yards.  These sessions are easier on both the pets and their parents because there are no car rides involved.  After all, most pets think they are on their way to the vet when they are in the car! I will come to your home and capture your pets doing what they do every day – which is making you smile.
