My name is BJ Ward and photography is my passion. I also firmly believe that photography is an art form.

The name of my company is derived from the two people who most inspired me to find my inner muse and pursue my own creative outlet;

My fraternal Grandmother, Isabell, was a very talented artist who always challenged me to carve my own creative path no matter what.

My dad, Bob, was a gifted photographer and teacher. He taught me to look at the world around me in my own way. That is where my tag line,"Just As I See It" comes from.


That slogan is also reflected by the fact that I do not do much in terms of manipulating my photographs to get them to look "just right". If they do not look good coming out of the camera, I move on to those images that represent my own perceptions and vision of a particular subject.

I do a number of different styles and types of photography. I do not have a certain genre that I prefer to shoot exclusively. Some would say that seems too random – I feel this approach allows me to explore different styles and techniques thus honing my craft to expand my skills and repertoire.
