My name is BJ Andrade-Ward and photography is my passion.

The name of my company is derived from the two people who most inspired me to find my inner muse and pursue my own creative outlet.

My fraternal Grandmother, Isabell, was a very talented artist who worked in many mediums including oil, acrylic, and watercolor, but ceramics were her true passion. She always challenged me to carve my own creative path no matter what.

My dad, Bob, was a gifted photographer and teacher, and he taught me to look at the world around me in my own way. That is where my tagline, "Just As I See It" comes from.  That also reflects the fact that I do not do much in terms of manipulating my photographs to get them to look just right.  If they do not look good coming out of the camera, I will generally move on to images that represent my vision of a particular subject.  The true beauty of digital photography is that I can take a virtually unlimited number of images to capture the moment as accurately as possible.

You can see that I have galleries relating to a number of different types of photography.  When I began this endeavor people kept asking what type of photography I was going to specialize in.  I thought long and hard about that question and I can safely say that I do not have a certain genre that I want to shoot exclusively.  Some would say that seems too random.  My take is that it really allows me to explore different styles and techniques thus honing my craft to expand my skills and repertoire.
